Calling all athletes! Sign up now for Track Academy’s Indoor Sprint Challenge, taking place on Saturday, December 22 at Willesden Sports Centre.
Certified by British Athletics, the track will open at 11am for a warm-up, followed by round one of the 60m sprint for all ages at midday. A 60m hurdles race, for the age group U13 and upwards, will take place at 1.30pm, followed the second round of 60m at 2pm. The day will end with free races for toddlers, aged between two and four, and junior multi-skills for ages five to seven.
Track Academy founder Connie Henry said: “We can’t wait to see what our competitors will bring to the track at the Indoor Sprint Challenge. It’s set to be a really fun afternoon and we’re sure there will be a fantastic atmosphere. Spectators are very welcome too, to help cheer on their friends and family as they race.”
Competitors aged eight and upwards can sign up now here. Early bird online entry costs £5 until midnight on Sunday, December 9. Late online entry costs £7 until 3pm on Friday, December 21st, with entry on the day priced at £10. The fee paid includes both rounds one and two of the 60m race. The entry desk opens at 10am, and registration closes 30 minutes before each event.
