Family Fun Day by Stonebridge Originals used sport as a tool of celebration and reconnecting the community. With multiple sports activities, games, food stalls and shops accessible for all, attendees were able to experience a level of closeness and togetherness after a long period of isolation.

The day further consisted of mixed football games, bouncy castles and inflatable courses, dominos and multiple athletics teasers. The football games were rewarded with a final game of a memorial football cup to honour the 88 people that had passed in the community; their names were called out in remembrance.

This event encouraged people to view sports in a more fun and relaxing way, getting more people outside and back to movement while celebrating members of the community.
