Young Roots are specialists in supporting young asylum seekers and refugees aged 11-25 to reach their potential. Social isolation, holiday hunger and inactivity have a big impact on the unaccompanied minors as they struggle with the long summer holiday period without a safety net and structure of school or college.

During a 6-week holiday programme, Young Roots will offer a mixture of sports and cooking workshops allowing young people to get active, reduce social isolation and tackle holiday hunger by offering them the resources and knowledge they need to cook and eat nutritious meals on their own.
