A brother and sister team from Track Academy secured three medals between them at the Middlesex Outdoor Championships, with a further two brought home to the Willesden Sports Centre by their team-mates.

Charlotte Reynaert won gold in the under-17 javelin with a distance of 18.7m, while her shot put throw of 7.94m saw her take bronze in the same age category. Elsewhere, her brother Jasper brought home a silver in the under-13 long jump, having leapt an impressive 3.42m.

Track Academy team-mates Shenal Kuranage and Abigail Ejakita also made the podium at the Lee Valley Athletics Centre in Edmonton. Shenal won silver with a long jump finish of 6.03m in the under-17s category, while Abigail’s time of 12.86s in the under-17s 100m led to a bronze.

Track Academy founder Connie Henry MBE said: “We’re really proud of our athletes for training so hard and seeing their efforts come to fruition at the championships. They’re a very talented bunch and we predict great things for them in the future.”
